The Results are in, there’ll be a Runoff

The election on April 6th has come and gone. And while there was no clear victor in the mayoral race, one of our endorsees has advanced to the final round: Steve Benjamin. And for the last leg of the race he’s going to need all the assistance our community can give in the form of volunteer hours and donations leading up to the April 20th runoff election date. So we’re organizing fast.

If you can we’re having a QUICK pink party on April 13, 2010 at the home of Wil Sligh, register hereThe suggested minimum donation is $50. If you have concerns about previous donations — no worries, this is a new election. We’re also working with the campaign to have a green to go, Pink to finish volunteer day Sunday April 18 at the campaign headquarters.

Join the GLBT community as we honor Mayor Bob Coble, and support our mayoral candidates in the Columbia Mayor’s Race.

6:00pm- 10:00pm

Contributions (suggested minimum donation of $50) will be taken the night of the party or you may mail your checks to:
